An invitation I’ve never resisted, always splashed ahead anticipating
Waking wide
Each moment infinite presence, opening connection with you
Waves swell
Buoy me up lighter than the cool spray, and I can see
Way out

Waves shimmer
Catching the sky, reflected rays so refined they can structure any height
Way up
Still right here, remembrances closest to my mind, my heart

Waves slow
Suspended, encircled, your body succor on my skin, soothing cool
Weightless now
Breathing both into one rhythm undulance toe to toe
Waves whorl
Iridesce abyss chiasm collapse crash your colors round me
Wade in
Believing this possibility, building this art, arranging in response to you
Waves unwind
Waiting in the hush and hold and fine feeling and foam
For you are waves
